For information about data retention settings for the HPC scheduler and HPC diagnostics databases, see Understanding Job History.
For information about settings for the HPC management and the HPC reporting databases, see Charts and Reports: HPC Cluster Manager.
For information about adding workstation nodes to your HPC cluster, see Adding Workstation Nodes Step-by-Step Guide.
For detailed information about network topologies and how they affect broker nodes and workstation nodes, as well as information about advanced network configurations, see HPC Cluster Networking
You can install the HPC databases on one or more remote servers, instead of installing them on the head node of your cluster. The advantage of this type of installation is that it saves resources on the head node, helping ensure that it can efficiently manage the cluster. For more information, see deploying a cluster with remote databases step-by-step guide.
