| SQL-DMO strings are always returned as OLE BSTR objects. A C/C++ application obtains a reference to the string. The application must release the reference by using SysFreeString. |
Hinweise
The recognized vendor for VIA protocol with Microsoft SQL Server is Giganet. An application can use the value returned by ViaRecognizedVendors to specify the preferred vendor using the ViaVendor property.
VIA is only compatible with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
