MSBuild-Ziele

Durch Ziele werden Aufgaben in einer bestimmten Reihenfolge gruppiert, und der Buildprozess kann in kleinere Einheiten aufgeteilt werden. Ein Ziel kann beispielsweise alle Dateien im Ausgabeverzeichnis zur Vorbereitung auf den Build löschen, während ein anderes die Eingaben für das Projekt kompiliert und diese in einem leeren Verzeichnis platziert. Deklarieren von Zielen in der Projektdatei

Ziele werden in der Projektdatei mithilfe des Target-Elements deklariert. Die folgende XML erstellt beispielsweise ein Ziel namens „Construct“, das dann die Csc-Aufgabe mit dem Elementtyp „Compile“ aufruft.

Wird MyTarget ausgeführt, wird nur das „zweite Vorkommen“ angezeigt, da die zweite Definition von MyTarget die erste ausblendet.

MSBuild ist von der Importreihenfolge abhängig, sodass die letzte Definition eines Ziels die verwendete Definition ist. Wenn Sie versuchen, ein Ziel neu zu definieren, wird dieses nicht wirksam, wenn das integrierte Ziel später definiert wird.

Buildreihenfolge für Ziele

Ziele müssen geordnet werden, wenn die Eingabe für ein Ziel von der Ausgabe eines anderen Ziels abhängt.

Es gibt mehrere Möglichkeiten, um die Reihenfolge anzugeben, in der die Ziele ausgeführt werden.

Ein Ziel wird während eines einzelnen Builds nie zweimal ausgeführt, auch wenn ein nachfolgendes Ziel im Build von diesem abhängt. Sobald ein Ziel ausgeführt wird, ist sein Beitrag zum Build abgeschlossen.

Projekte im SDK-Format

Viele neuere Projekte verwenden ein SDK, d. h., sie verwenden das Sdk-Attribut für das Stammelement Project (z. B. <Project Sdk="Microsoft.NET.Sdk">). Weitere Informationen finden Sie unter Verweisen auf ein Projekt-SDK. In diesem Fall ist die Reihenfolge der Definition einiger Ziele nicht unbedingt offensichtlich, da die Importe für die Ziele implizit am Ende der Projektdatei hinzugefügt werden. Bei älteren Versionen von MSBuild oder in Projekten, die das Sdk-Attribut nicht verwenden, war es üblich, das Verhalten eines Ziels wie Build zu erweitern, in der AfterBuild oder BeforeBuild des Ziel außer Kraft gesetzt wurde. Dies funktioniert jedoch nicht in Projekten, die ein SDK verwenden, da AfterBuild in einem impliziten Import nach allem anderen Code in Ihrer Projektdatei definiert wird. Um das Verhalten eines vorhandenen Ziels zu erweitern, müssen Sie daher ein neues Ziel erstellen und BeforeTargets (bzw. AfterTargets) wie folgt angeben:

Weiesen Sie dem Ziel einen beschreibenden Namen zu, genauso wie eine Funktion im Code benannt wird.

In einigen Fällen, z. B. beim Arbeiten mit älteren Buildskripts, die AfterBuild verwenden, können Sie die Verwendung des Sdk-Attributs vermeiden und stattdessen explizite Importen verwenden. Wenn Sie ein SDK-Projekt so ändern möchten, dass explizite Importe verwendet werden, entfernen Sie das Sdk="{SdkName}"-Attribut, und fügen Sie wie folgt zwei Importe hinzu: <import Project="{SdkName}.props"> nahe am Anfang der Projektdatei und <import Project="{Sdkname}.targets"> nahe dem Ende. Nachdem Sie diese Änderung vorgenommen haben, können Sie AfterBuild nach dem Importelement neu definieren, das die Datei {Sdkname}.targets importiert.

Zielbatchverarbeitung

Inkrementelle Builds

Inkrementelle Builds sind Buildvorgänge, die so optimiert werden, dass Ziele mit Ausgabedateien, die hinsichtlich der zugehörigen Eingabedateien aktuell sind, nicht ausgeführt werden. Ein Zielelement kann über das Inputs- und das Outputs-Attribut verfügen, die angeben, welche Elemente das Ziel als Eingabe erwartet und welche es als Ausgabe erzeugt.

Wenn alle Ausgabeelemente aktuell sind, überspringt MSBuild das Ziel, wodurch die Buildgeschwindigkeit deutlich verbessert wird. Dies wird als inkrementeller Build des Ziels bezeichnet. Wenn nur einige Dateien aktuell sind, führt MSBuild das Ziel ohne die aktuellen Elemente aus. Dies wird als partiell inkrementeller Build des Ziels bezeichnet. SDK und Standardbuildziele

Einige Buildziele hängen vom SDK ab, auf das Sie verweisen. Zum Abrufen aller Ziele, die für eine Projektdatei verfügbar sind, verwenden Sie die Befehlszeilenoption -targets oder -ts. Hilfreiche Informationen finden Sie in der MSBuild-Befehlszeilenreferenz. Das Buildsystem enthält viele Ziele, die für die interne Verwendung durch den Build vorgesehen sind. Diese werden in der Regel mit einem Unterstrich (_) am Anfang des Zielnamens angegeben. Wenn Sie nicht .NET verwenden, verwenden Sie MSBuild.exe -ts anstelle von dotnet build -ts, gefolgt von denselben Piping- und Filtervorgängen.

Eine Liste der .NET SDK-Ziele finden Sie beispielsweise unter Microsoft.NET.Publish.targets. Sie finden diese Datei in den .NET SDK-Installationsordnern. Andere SDKs enthalten ähnliche .targets-Dateien in ihren Installationsordnern, die Sie durchsuchen können.
