So, I have been using Azure Storage and VMs with my credits. I have need to use other services as well. One of which is Bing Search API and another is Azure OpenAI

I have difficulty differentiating what is part of Marketplace services and what is covered by the credits.

I used Azure OpenAI an apparently that is part of Marketplace and I paid out of my pocket for the usage.

So, is Bing Search API covered or not? How to differentiate between what is covered or not?

    Hi Priyansh Kothari,

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub provides Azure credits that can be applied toward most Azure services. However, certain services, especially those offered through the Azure Marketplace, are not covered by these credits.

Founders Hub Credits typically cover a range of Microsoft services, including Azure credits, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power BI, GitHub Enterprise, and Visual Studio Enterprise. However, Azure OpenAI Service is considered a Marketplace service, which means it's not covered by Founders Hub Credits and would require separate payment3.

As for the Bing Search API, it is generally available as part of the Bing Search API plans, which might not be covered by Founders Hub Credits either.

To determine if a service is covered:

Check the Service's Billing Information: In the Azure portal, navigate to the service's pricing details. If it's billed separately or through the Marketplace, it's likely not covered by Azure credits.

Consult Azure Documentation: Refer to official Azure documentation or support channels for specifics on service eligibility concerning Azure credits.
