Report for network drives

Need sccm report to generate a list of which network drives are being used by which user.

Please help.

    This is something you can achieve by extending the custom client settings and collect the information using hardware inventory.

    Hi,

    Thank you for coming Microsoft MECM Q&A forum.

    Agree with Eswar Koneti. SCCM hardware inventory agent runs as the ‘SYSTEM’ and cannot see the end-users network drives. Mapped network drives are a per-user setting so you need to run a script or process under the user‘s context to grab that data and store it in WMI that the hardware inventory process can get to.     Have spent a lot of time on this recently, I will tell you to make sure that you confirm the results. I have found that if you apply a GPO mapping, it will NOT always show up using these methods. Similarly if you are an administrator on your computer not all drives show up.
    Just make sure that you validate the results.
