My Windows11 used to install office2021, which was in normal use, but recently I want to change to office2019. After using the ISO file of MSDN, PPT and excel will crash unexpected when they are started, and when they are started again, it indicates that a serious error occurred last time. When I start the Word, it indicates that 'Sorry, three is an error, word cannot be started (2)‘.

Trying to use the Control Panel for a quick fix, failed.
Trying to use 'winword \a', the same error occurred and cannot start.
Trying to delete 'normal.dotm' ,failed.

Trying to reinstall office2021. Office2021 works normally, but when I install it back to office2019, office2019 still does not work.
In addition, Word can be started directly in the computer application list, but clicking on an existing Word document can not start Word.

I’m using the professional plus version of office2019.

    Hi @zhiyuan zhu

    Welcome to Q&A forum ~

Besides, you can go to Event Viewer > Windows Logs > Application, collect the errors related to Office 2019 apps, and check the error modules.

According to your description, it's recommended to change the installation package of Office 2019.
