Possible to remove/replace Azure Kinect DK depth camera lens?

Are you referring to the hardware failure scenario like broken or not working?

I am working on a research project where we would like to experiment the effect of a lens modification on time-of-flight imaging.
We would like to remove the on-board lens and place our modified lens in front of the ToF sensor.

Mounting our lens onto the Kinect board is not a requirement for us, but it would also be valuable to us if there are lens mounting options. Otherwise, we can have a floating setup where our lens is place in front of the sensor but not mounted on.

(By the way, we do not own the Kinect DK yet -- we wanted to check this capability before purchasing. Thanks!)
