VS 2019 instead 0f 2107?

I need to open my Azure Database in VS 2019 instead of 2017. How can I get this done without uninstalling VS 2017?

Thanks for your response Kalyan. I followed up on your assistance late, sorry. I followed your familiar instructions but that did not solve the problem. When I click on the server which stores the database, it freezes up, causing me to have to shutdown and restart VS 2019.

Knowing the Adventureworks database I am trying to access is derived from Microsoft Visual C#: Step by Step 8th edition, and there is a newer version to this book out, I may not need older incompatible issue solving.

I have two issue with my App preventing me from running it. An Exception at runtime

How can I get passed it?

@Amos Matthew Looks like you are following a tutorial or example from a book.
Unless you point me to the exact sample, i might not be able to help you on this. Is this sample project on GitHub?

A lot going on Kaylan, sorry.

The example is not on GitHub as far as I know. The task is Receiving Data from a Database where I must Create an Entity Model containing a Web API and a REST web service.

IIs that enough info to move forward?

@Amos Matthew Thank you for reaching out.

I believe you have an existing Database project that you would like to open in Visual Studio 2019. For this you will need to Install SSDT with Visual Studio 2019

If you didn't choose these components while installing Visual Studio 2019, please launch "Visual Studio Installer", select the appropriate Visual Studio version and click on "Modify" to install these components

You should be able to open the Database project from VS 2019.
