Hello. I am currently trying to rework a system built using Kinect v2 with AzureKinect. However, the coordinates obtained from Kinect v2 and AzureKinect differed greatly in the magnitude of the values. Is this something wrong with my or the original system's programming, or are the two types of Kinect originally different coordinate systems? I am not good at English, so I apologize if it is hard to read. Thanks.

Hello @yusa_at , the coordinate system notation is different between the 2 kinect Systems. For Kinect v2 here: Coordinate mapping | Microsoft Learn and Azure Kinect DK here: Azure Kinect DK coordinate systems | Microsoft Learn . It looks like the coordinate system notation is inverted for X and Y (may be that is what you are referring to) Could you please add more info on the issue, adding any images for the differences and the community members can help further.

Hello @QuantumCache , thank you for your response.

The attached images show the coordinates of the right hand in the movement of raising the right hand to the chest with each Kinect.
In each case, the camera was designed to capture the subject from the top of the head to the thighs.
Of the two images, the one with the larger absolute value is AzureKinect and the smaller one is Kinect v2.

I would like to know if the difference in these numbers is intrinsic to the Kinect, programmed, or both.

Additional information about the program used.

The Kinect v2 program has been taken over, and it seems to be processed with respect to numerical values to some extent when acquiring the coordinates.

The program of Azure Kinect is based on AKRecorder, and I did not modify it regarding the acquisition of coordinates.
