It doesn't happen by default. You can configure this security setting by opening the appropriate policy under
    Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\Audit Policy

    Hi,
If you just want to find the login and logout data of users who log on to one server, you can enable the logon audit policy through the local group policy by:
    enable gpedit.msc,

Under Computer Configuration/Windows Settings/Security Settings/Advanced audit policy/logon/logoffand configure it as following

If you want to do this for all the workstation, Enable Auditing on the domain level by using Group Policy.
