ASC Recommendations

For ASC Recommendations, some of the refer to machines and some say virtual machines. Are machines specifically referring to on prem computers?

    Thanks for your post!

    Azure Security Center periodically analyzes the security state of your Azure resources to identify potential security vulnerabilities. It then provides you with recommendations on how to remediate those vulnerabilities. In your specific scenario, ASC is not referring to on-prem machines but your Azure Virtual Machines.

    As you can see, I have a recommendation that says:
    "Your machines should be restarted to apply system updates".

    When I click on that recommendation, you can see two VMs that are "unhealthy" and 9 that are "healthy" resources.
