Migrating applications from my Windows server 2008 r2 to Windows server 2012/2016

I have few applications that are running in the Windows server 2008 R2 Sp1 in Azure VM. I want the underlying OS to be updated without affecting the applications.
Since Microsoft doesn't provide support for In-Place update for Azure VMs, I was wondering if there's some other way to do the migration.

    Hi @Prakashraaj V ,

    If you're talking about third party applications, then you'll likely need to migrate them manually.

    If you mean Windows roles/features, you could have a look at the Storage Migration Service (SMS) over here:
