Hello,
My ultimate goal is to install the Ableton Live 11 trial. When I try to do that, I receive an error about it "already being installed" which the Ableton forums say may be an issue with Visual C++. I tried repairing all my versions of Visual C++ and installing the recommended version, but I'm still getting the same error in the Ableton install.
There are a couple of versions of Visual C++ that have a different icon and which I cannot repair or install. It just says "Windows cannot find... [the file path]". I'm wondering if this broken path is what's causing an issue with the Ableton install? How can I fix these broken paths and repair or remove these versions of Visual C++? Or what else can I do? Thanks!

Please try to download and use this troubleshooter to remove the "Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable" packages.
Besides, please also try this SFC tool to see if any system files are corrupted.

I have the same problem - I can't uninstall. The suggested solution didn't work and I still didn't find any.

I can’t uninstall.
Did you try to use this troubleshooter tool to uninstall it/them by following the steps below?
Run the troubleshooter tool, select "Uninstalling", search and find "Microsoft Visual C++ XXXX Xxx Additional Runtime - xx.xx.xxxxx", "Microsoft Visual C++ XXXX Xxx Debug Runtime - xx.xx.xxxxx" and "Microsoft Visual C++ XXXX Xxx Minimum Runtime - xx.xx.xxxxx", select and uninstall them.
Thank you for your response. I posted previously "I can't uninstall" because I had so many versions of Microsoft Visual C++ that I didn't noticed that the troubleshooter had actually uninstalled it. After I realized that the troubleshooter was uninstalling I did it for all versions of MSVC++ and all worked fine.
