Backup failed because your Microsoft Azure subscription has expired

It seems your subscription was disabled and then you re-activated it. Post re-activation, the backup still fails with error "Microsoft Azure subscription has expired"

In case you have multiple subscriptions, please check the subscription that you re-activated recently. If the status is activate or enabled, kindly try creating any resource within that subscription. If it works, then the problem is with backup. If am not wrong these are scheduled backups that are failing. If yes, can you modify the schedule or add/remove backup items and then run the backup, see if that works. If not, we may need to engage support for further investigation into this issue.

Also, From Azure portal -->Subscriptions-->Microsoft Azure Subscription Name(you will see your Azure Subscription Name here)-->Resource Providers.

Check if the Microsoft.RecoveryServices provider is registered. If not, register it and enable backup. To register provider, follow the instructions from the link - https://video2.skills-academy.com/en-us/powershell/module/az.resources/register-azresourceprovider?view=azps-9.1.0
