Cannot select USB microphone in Teams / Chrome / Linux

Hi all,

beginning some 5 weeks ago, I cannot select my (USB) microphone in the web version of Teams anymore (Linux, Chrome) - although it works perfectly in all applications and also on other web sites. I am only shown the input of the built-in soundcard.

I found that I can reactivate the selectability of microphones by closing the teams tab and DELETING ALL COOKIES from teams.microsoft.com, but this only helps until the next start of Chrome. Just to make sure: my USB microphone (and the combination above) used to be working for more than a year!

Do you have any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Chronomancer

    @Chronomancer ,

    Do you try in other machines with google chrome?

    You could try to reset and clean up the chrome. Then, have a try.

    Besides, check if there is any update on Chrome.
