Hello Experts,

We have Single HostPool with Azure AVD.

I have a design with an MSIX app attach and its working without any issues, However, we wanted to apply FSLOGIX APP Masking for MSIX App attached applications, but I do not see any documentation on how to create an App Masking rule.

When I try to create a rule I do not know what o be given as a path or locate the msix apps directory to scan and configure it. Can anyone help me in right direction for this.

Note:- I know if we separate the Application Group we can achieve this with the MSIX app Attach, however, we wanted these things in one application Group hence I am trying to use APPLogix APP masking.

    @Hun boy

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Platform, thanks for posting your query here.

    For MSIX Apps, you don't need App Masking. If you want to remove application for an user, remove user from AVD app group so that app will be disappeared.
    However, you need to create multiple app groups for multiple applications.

    I checked with internal team on this, there is a feature request in backlog that would allow for assigning of different apps to different users in the same host pool for MSIX App Attach. There is no ETA on this yet.

    In the meantime App Groups for your grouped apps is going to be the best method. It shouldn't involve a significant overhead if you use group membership to assign various apps, or groups of apps to their target users.

    Hope this helps.
