What unit of measure in the "values" mentioned in Azure Metrics?

If you go to https://video2.skills-academy.com/en-us/azure/azure-monitor/reference/tables/azuremetrics and page down to the description of the Total field

Total real Sum of all of the values in the time range.

Q1: What constitutes a "value" mentioned in the Total description?
Q2: What is the unit of measure of that 'Value" ( for ex: in IOPS, in milliseconds, etc...)

    The "UnitName" column tells you the unit of measure you are looking for. The UnitName identifies the Unit of Metric that applies to values of the specific MetricName.
