External email warning in Outlook after recent update - how to disable?

We are starting to see this warning in Outlook that emails came from an external source. My end users really dislike it and want to disable it. How do I go about that? I've attached a screen capture.

This issue is not resolved with the answer given. The answer I seek is, within the settings of the outlook app; how do I remove the external sender prompt or at least reduce it to something that allows me to preview email topics? currently due to this prompt, I have to open an email in order to even see any relevant information besides the name of the person sending it.

There should really be a way to remove this at the user level. The placement of the box is terrible and limits visibility on compact settings & vertical monitors.

I think most Admins like myself want to just disable this for the users that complain that it clutters their mailbox.

You can disable it via the Set-ExternalInOutlook cmdlet: https://video2.skills-academy.com/en-us/powershell/module/exchange/set-externalinoutlook?view=exchange-ps

I do not want to disable the external function, but just hide the "External" hint in the message list view, because it takes away much room. It's not really a flag and it's also not part of any message header (at least not that I could see). Outlook adds it based on some criteria, I guess.

Is it possible to just hide that "External" notice in the messsage list and not to disable it completely?
