@svjs-0437 , Thanks for the update. I am glad to hear that the cause is found, Congratulations! Here, please let me write a summary for our issue:

    Issue Definition:

    -----------------------------

Some win 32 apps failing at ESP with error code 1618 or unknown errors for hybrid AAD windows autopilot

    Cause and Resolution:

    -----------------------------

1618 means "Another installation is already in progress. Complete that installation before proceeding with this install.". Investigating and find the office installed from intune is causing the issue. it uses MSI installer causing other MSI based win32 app to fail. It is working when office is excluded from the target.

Thanks for your time and have a nice day!

1618 = "Another installation is already in progress. Complete that installation before proceeding with this install."

This is unrelated to the device being reset. Reviewing the event logs on the system will help identify which app installations are conflicting.

@svjs-0437 , Agree with Jason, the error occurs when multiple win32 apps attempt to install at the same time. Some Win32 will return 1618 since one app is installing and the engine will wait 3 minutes and try again.

Research and find an article which has a similar issue, we can check if we have the same situation and try the suggestions:

apologies for the delay.... i had also raised a MS ticket for this issue, they suspect the office installed from intune is causing the issue. it uses MSI installer causing other MSI based win32 app to fail. we didn't get this issue when office is excluded from the target.
