Indexing shows paused and pause button is greyed out while all searches give no results.
@Nick B Could you post a screen shot of the same? Is this in the bing custom search portal or the Azure Cognitive search resource in Azure portal? The tag used is bing custom search but I am not sure if the custom search portal has an indexing button though.
Nick B Did you get a chance to check if more details could be added about the screen you are referring to?
I fixed it by setting registry key to zero that says SetupComplete in SOFTWARE/MICROSOFT/WINDOWS SEARCH
