@Limitless, I think you did not understand my query.
Unable to configure dedicated NIC for Live migration
I am configuring Hyper-V cluster. We do not use SCVMM but cluster manager. I have two nodes let's say Node01 and Node02. Each node have 4 NIC card.
- On node01 NIC1 and NIC2 have been teamed for OS Management Network, this is Access port
- One node01 NIC3 and NIC4 have been configured as TRUNK port for VM network
- On node02 NIC1 and NIC2 have been teamed for OS Management Network, this is Access port
- One node02 NIC3 and NIC4 have been configured as TRUNK port for VM network
- I have created identitical switch for TRUNK port NIC, Switch name is "VM-Network" Now if I check in cluster -->Networks then I see that ACCESS port (NIC1,NIC2) have been configured for Cluster communication and Live migration both. While the second network which is from TRUNK ports does not work for live migration. I also assigned an IP to TRUNK port NIC but that does not seem to be working. How can I use TRUNK port for live migration as well??
