Hi @Erik Engvall,
but a single user continually gets an error message stating that file upload failed due to the message being empty
- Is this the exact and complete error message?
- Does this only occur to PDF file attachments? In other words, other file types of attachments can be uploaded by dragging and dropping properly, right?
- Were you able to share PDF file with this specific user in this way before?
In order to help narrow down the issue, I'd suggest checking in the Teams web app via https://teams.microsoft.com and see if the issue persists. It's also recommended to try confirming if others can share PDF files with this user using this method. This helps eliminate if it's actually an issue on the specific user's side.
By the way, regarding your current workaround, if now you save the file by right click it and choose "save as", I'd recommend having a try by directly dragging and dropping the PDF file from a message to the PC. This could help simplify the process a little bit.
