Why has outlook stopped woring on my mac after latest update?

Update outlook friday on my Mac. today i cannot send or receive emails.

    In order to help narrow down the issue, please try checking it from the web mail and see if you are able to send and receive properly.

    With the above confirmed, please try removing the account and then adding it back to Outlook for Mac and check the result:

    In case the issue remains, could you share the detailed build number of your Outlook and the error message when this occurs (if it has) for further investigation?
