Depends on where I "scheduled send", the date of the email is not the same in Outlook Desktop vs Outlook Web.

Ex #1 :

I "delayed send" an email in outlook Desktop. Real Time, 13h46. Delayed Time, 16h41.

In Desktop, the date send display on the right corner is 16h41. But in Outlook Web, it's 13h46.

Ex #2 :

I "scheduled send" an email in outlook Web. Real Time, 14h04. Delayed Time, 16h52.

In Web, it's displayed 14h04. But in Outlook Desktop, it's 16h52.

And the receiver have also the Real Time if he open the email with the other app.

I wanted to schedule email to manage my customer, but when I saw that I completely loose faith in your process and will probably use Bommerang instead, for the future....

The reason why the delayed sent email shows as creation timestamp is when the delayed sent email is created, the email is recorded in the mail sent server, so though the delayed sent email exists in outbox when it is not sent out, its timestamp still shows as creation time when it is in Sent Items folder, when it is sent out, it just calls the value of the creation time.

    Unfortunately, this is by design.

    Hi @AlexG123,

I can also reproduce it when the mail is delayed sent from OWA:

I‘ve tried submitting this to the feedback portal for Exchange Online and you can vote on it as well:

At present, I'd suggest delaying send from the Outlook desktop clients instead.
