So,
I have a VISX that installs some templates with a Wizard.
This has been working with 2019 for ever. Our company is in the process upgrading to VS2022, but I have not yet migrated the VSIX to work with 2022 yet, as I know there are some changes.
However, I recently installed 2022 concurrently with 2019.
Now, when I run the VSIX install, it says it's installing to 2019 and completed correctly, but:
I need this to work like, yesterday, and I am finding nothing onlin explaining why merely having 2022 installed would break this install process.

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum. Does this issue appear on another machine with VS 2019 and VS 2022 installed side-by-side? Was your extension installed in the %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\VisualStudio\ <Visual Studio version>\Extensions\ folder(see this document: Per-user and administrative extensions)? Besides, have you tried to reinstall this extension?
