I am writing to inquire about using Azure services, specifically virtual machines, in a country with internet restrictions. I understand that certain countries, including Iran, may be restricted from using Azure services. I am interested in finding a solution that would allow me to use Azure services in Iran while still complying with Microsoft's terms of service and all applicable laws considering that the USA adjusted some tech sanctions on Iran. I would appreciate any information or guidance that you can provide on this matter. Thank you for your time and assistance.

    Hello, sajad alizade !

Are there countries where Microsoft products and cloud services may not be accessed?

Unfortunately this is a legal issue as opposed to a technical issue so I'm limited in how much I can help with this question. What I can say is that the Microsoft Exporting Products FAQ has the most up to date information on this subject, as well as links to the corresponding documents (including the OFAC Iran Sanctions Resource Center in this case) and contact information. This is the best available resource for answering your question and the most complete answer we can give on Microsoft Q&A at this time.
