Hello Team,
I hope you're doing fine,
I just setup up update management center to patch my VMs, everything is working fine.
I have the dashboard compliance on the update management center, but i cannot pin it to my monitoring Dashboard.
I want to know if you have an alternative, or templates that i can use to monitor the compliance of my vms, and to be pin it to my monitoring dashboard?
Any advice, idea is welcome
Thanks

    Hi,

It is best to use Azure Monitor Workbooks as those have way more capabilities of visualizing and showing data from various sources. If you open Update management Center blade you will see workbooks under monitoring:

When you open the Overview workbook you have different visualizations. From the top menu click edit to edit the workbook. When you edit specific visualization and click on Advanced settings you have the option to enable Always show the pin icon on this step. When you enable that for the visualizations you want, save the workbook and open it you will see pin icon on those visualizations. With that pin icon you can pin the visualization to Azure Dashboard. But overall it is best to use the built-in workbooks or create your own workbook instead of using Azure Dashboards which has some basic functionalities.
