unable to delete the Apache Spark pool and attached error messages.
I tried to delete via powershell as well from Azure Cloud Shell but no luck.
As you can see in the screenshot there is no notebook1.

@Karthik R Hello and welcome to Microsoft Q&A.

I understand you are having difficulty deleting your spark pool.

The important clue here is the Azure Cloud Shell's error message.

Notebook 1 is referencing your Spark1. If the pool Spark1 was deleted, then the Notebooks attatched to it will break.

Solution: Go to the Notebook 1 and change the Attatched to and then publish. Then try deleting the spark pool.

    Hi

Thank you for posting query in Microsoft Q&A Platform.

I could see your notebook1 has attached with Spark1. Kindly remove that attachment and publish changes and then try to delete it.

    Below is your screenshot.

    Hello,

    i have the same problem.

how it is possible to change the attachment? You are forced to select at least one attachment. In that case you need a an another spark pool.

    This is an ongoing issue.
Why can't you delete the Apache Spark Pool if you MUST attach a notebook to another ASP?

This means that I can't save my notebooks in the workspace - I am forced to delete them and then delete the ASP.
