Exchange Online Powershell CBA behaves strangely

I m connecting to Exchnage Online Powershell through .Net application. I passing appId, certificate and organization domain as parameters. However my organization domain doesn't contain "onmicrosoft.com" part which is why I got "For AppOnly flow Tenant in token doesn't match with Tenant in request Url" in production. But when I run the same code locally everything is working fine. I don't understand why
