MS365 portal admin: how to know if an email has been effectively read

Hi all,

I'm an administrator of a tenant. My boss want to know if is it possible to understand if an email has been effectively read or not, from 365 admin portal.

I'm struggling to search for something but not found anything yet.

Someone knows if it's possible?

    Hi.

    Such action does not exist directly.

    You will not find a menu on exchange with these options. (search for read msgs).

    however, doing a search on internet, there are scripts that can bring this information.

    Yes, there is no built-in functionality in the 365 admin portal to see if a specified email has been read.
