Header abruptly appearing mid-document on headings

I'm formatting a manuscript on Microsoft Word and do not want the header to appear on the pages with headings (beginning of a new chapter). My manuscript follows what I want up to chapter 10 where it abruptly puts the header on the next heading page. I'm not sure how to stop this and am not sure why it happened.

Resolved - sorry. I realized I was using page breaks instead of ending sections with continuous breaks!

I suspect that you should be using Next-Page or Odd-Page section breaks rather than continuous ones. Certainly you should if you want that heading to be on a new page.
