In our Visual Studio extension, we are using Data Designer Extensibility Architecture to add a our extension node in the Data Connection hierarchy of Visual Studio Server Explorer. We want to rename one of the child nodes which is of type IVsDataExplorerNode at runtime. Is there any way to to change the Display Name(Caption) of the IVsDataExplorerNode in runtime?

But it is getting exception saying "Specified method is not supported" at Microsoft.VisualStudio.Data.Package.DataExplorerNode.ExecuteCommand(CommandID commandId, Object arg). I am not sure but it may be because the CanRename property of the node is false and this is a read-only property so we cannot change it to true.
