Hi @Susan Dodds ,
I would like to delete a large amount of emails from a certain time frame all at once. Is there a way to do this in OWA?
Normally, users can only manually select and delete emails via OWA. You can bulk select multiple mails at once by holding down the Shift key.
It possible, I’d recommend using Outlook client instead which offers more options to delete old mails, such as archive or inbox rules.
From an administrator's perspective, you can also create retention policies to remove old mails.
Does deleting emails create log files until the database is backed up? The number of emails I would like to delete exceeds the size of my log file partition.
Yes, actions such as deleting emails will generate log files. Regarding your concern, you can consider backing up the database prior to delete the mails.
Besides, to free up the disk space, you can clean up the Exchange diagnostics logs first, more details, refer to this article: Cleanup logs Exchange 2013/2016/2019
