GUIX cannot load OTF files directly. GUIX Studio supports importing and using OTF files in your designs and generates a GUIX compatible font with the chosen properties, adds that font to the project resources, and makes the font available for the application to use.

Is the following understanding correct?
"GUIX Studio officially supports OpenTypeFont files as well as TrueTypeFont files."
The font description in GUIX Studio only describes TrueTypeFont, and we were not sure if OpenTyepFont is officially supported.
Yes, both OpenTypeFont and TrueType Font are officially supported, we'll improve the font description in the future.
