Biztalk 2020 Standard and Development Edition

Hi,

We have been asked to acquire Biztalk 2020 Standard Edition in behalf of a customer, that also wants to use Biztalk 2020 Development Edition (that is said to be free).

Before acquiring this license we want to know if Biztalk 2020 Standard Edition provide the right to download and use Biztalk 2020 Developer Edition.

We have seen other posts, but the answer is that it 'might' be needed Enterprise Edition, we need a YES or NO answer for our question.

Please, could you tell me if we are going to be able to download and use Biztalk 2020 Developer Edition after purchasing Biztalk 2020 Standard Edition?

    Hello, You can download BizTalk Developer Edition after you've aquired either Standard OR Enterprise. You can download the Developer Edition from my.visualstudio.com and it has all features so that the developer can use it on his workstation to build BizTalk Applications. Please keep in mind that the templates are not available yet for VS 2022 but only for VS 2019. Best regards, Steve
