Adjusting inactivity sign out threshold in shared iPad MDM not working

I recently set up a shared iPad server in Endpoint Manager

I have adjusted both the "Maximum seconds after screen lock before password is required" value and the "Maximum seconds of inactivity until user session logs out" value which seems to do nothing.

Even if I have them set at a high number like 1100 seconds, the users still get signed out after 2 minutes of inactivity. Is there a fix for this?
