Reviewing the Quarantine for a Mail-Enabled Public Folder

Our organization used mostly Public Folders rather than Shared Mailboxes. A number of these Public Folders are mail-enabled and have an email address assigned to them. We also use Microsoft Defender (security.microsoft.com/quarantine) for our email spam/threat filtering.

What options are there, without switching to Shared Mailboxes, for users to be able to check the quarantine of a Public Folder? I know Shared Mailboxes that if they are delegated permissions in EAC, they can, but I have not found a way to do this for Public Folders.

Thank you!

As far as I know, there is no direct way to allow users to check the quarantine of a public folder. However, you can use PowerShell to grant users access to the quarantine mailbox and then create a rule to forward all quarantine emails for mail-enabled public folders to that mailbox.
