Developing PowerPoint Add-In Does NOT In Task Pane: Instead Add-In Appears On The Slide

I am running a simple PowerPoint Add-In from Visual Studio 2022, but whenever I start the application, the Add-In appears on the slide itself as an element instead of a separate entity on the Side Task Pane. I also do not have the Commands Group with the button Show Task Pane. My Manifest and Home files seem to check out fine. I have tried to customize my Ribbon to see if I am missing an action button to toggle the Show Task Pane. I have looked at the View tab as well to see if there was something I need to toggle, but to no avail. User's image
