How to allow text to be the page width in OneNote

In Teams I needed to covert my educational Wiki pages to OneNote for unknown and alarming stupid reasons, but I'm having text layout issues. For some reason it's making the word wrap happen at halfway across the page. How do I fix the text engine to make text not wrap until it reaches the end of the page? Obviously OneNote is a terrible replacement the Wiki but I'm not the one who mandated this on short notice and decided to tell everyone to convert all Wiki to OneNote pages, that's MS.

Hi, I had this problem too, in relation to the page width. Youv'e probably found it now with the age of the post, but any way.... Just click on the page away from the text out to the right, outside the limits of the paragraph. When you then move your mouse back towards the text and you hit the page limit, it will show the box that the text resides in. Then just hover the mouse over the right extent of the page border and expanded it. Why it doesnt show this at the start is beyond me. Anyway found the fix :) Its wierd that it doesn't show this box all of the time and I can't find a setting for it :( it only seems to activate the box when the cursor is on the page edge when the cursor redraws. Your best bet is to slowly move the mouse cursor down from the page title until you are on top of the page header.

OneNote is not a word processor, so the numbers in the Paragraph Spacing dialog box work slightly differently than numbers in Microsoft Word and other Office programs.

In the Paragraph Spacing dialog box, the numbers in the Before and After boxes can cause confusing results, depending on how the text is formatted.

Unlike Word, OneNote doesn't show hidden paragraph marks. If you use soft line breaks (Shift+Enter) in your notes, OneNote treats the text as part of the same paragraph and applies spacing only before or after the entire block of text (paragraph) (before or after hard paragraph return (Enter).

I know how to use basic rich text editors. And I choose not to use Word because it’s bad at typesetting and has no professional uses in my line of work (and is too annoying to deal with sharing settings so google docs is more appropriate for internal stuff).

The problem is Teams is getting rid of Wiki, it automatically converts Wiki to Notes, and notes apparently can only be 4 inches wide and my screen real-estate is much bigger so, not only is it the wrong tool for job (I need a wiki, obviously) but it further obfuscates content, an already serious design problem with Teams as a whole. (I'd argue it's intentionally designed to obfuscate content).

It's probably asking too much to get advice for how to work around the anti-UX and anti-design of MS so I shouldn’t expect anyone to have a method to display content in Teams, it’s just not designed for that. I'm really just looking for advice to work around the bad design.

In OneNote, it is allowed to set the paper size. The default text box height and width can also be adjusted manually. Please refer to the figure below：

Weird. So it is word processor. I’m used to Notes being a simple app for taking notes and not having all this bloat. Maybe it has a template for building a wiki and I can waste a week moving content instead of doing my job. I just commented on an MS365 ad on Facebook where they claim 365 is about “efficiency” which is so wildly misleading it’s insulting.

I fully agree with OneNote being a downgrade, because it has too much buttons and features. Please keep it simple! For example: why is spelling check on, giving these annoying red lines, because it is not intelligent enough to detect language automatically. And why do I have to keep on switching it off 1000 times, but it returns.
