Hi,

Since many of the employees are working from home and using the internet outside the company is it possible to manage this laptops/pc using sccm? and how?

    You could use internet-based client management (IBCM) to manage Configuration Manager clients when they aren't connected to your internal network.

    Yes it's possible to remotely manage laptops/desktops by using SCCM/MECM, you'll find some information here:

    The preferred solution in ConfigMgr for remote client management is the Cloud Management Gateway: https://video2.skills-academy.com/en-us/mem/configmgr/core/clients/manage/cmg/plan-cloud-management-gateway. IBCM is technically valid but has a slightly a higher bar for configuration and overall maintenance and may/will not have some of the upcoming features available when using this method including Remote Control.
