Hello Experts,

I am new to Intune Windows 10 MDM scenario and would like to know few things related to policies settings in Intune.
Below are my questions -

Office Deployment - I found a policy in Intune to deploy office apps, I am using that Policy to deploy Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams and OneDrive. Now my question,

  1. Is there an automated way to auto configure outlook after the deployment ?
  2. While deploying OneDrive, how i can enable these two settings -
-Put the doc on PC only if used by the user.
-Remove files from PC if not used for 60 days.
  3. How can I enable time zone, language and regional settings using Intune.
  4. Device Enrollment - I have few windows 10 device which were already joined before to an azure ad there were policies also deployed using the azure ad. Now we have to remove these devices from the old Azure AD and connect them to a new AAD. My question is what will happen to the policies which were previously applied to the device. Will it remain on the device or will it get automatically removed after removing the old AAD.

Thanks,
NM

    1. You can use a device configuration profile for this. See https://oofhours.com/2020/04/07/outlook-and-azure-ad-join-automatically-configuring-the-users-mailbox/

2a. You can use OneDrive files on demand so that the links to the files appear, but they are only downloaded when a user opens them. Those settings are contained in the ADMX above.
    b. I haven't seen those settings.

    1. You can create a custom OMA-URI profile for the timezone. See https://oofhours.com/2019/12/20/configuring-time-zones-part-1/ as for language packs, there are multiple ways. This is one way https://www.anoopcnair.com/intune-learn-to-deploy-windows-10-language-pack-step-by-step-mem/
    2. I believe that the policies will stay, unless you deploy a new policy with different settings.I haven't tested this in a while though.

    Hi Nick,

Thanks for the quick reply, for the outlook auto configuration, how it will work if the AAD tenant has multiple domain associated with it, there are users on different domain . like - user1@jaswant .com, user2@xyz .com...

The setting says "Automatically configure profile based on Active Directory Primary SMTP address” if this is enabled will it set the auto configuration for all the domain or only for the domain where the AAD tenant is setup.
