Hi @Emily Pruc Greetings! Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum. We apologize for the inconvenience this issue has been causing you.

    • Here is a link to the Azure Kinect troubleshooting guide that will help you get started with debugging the issue. See the section Image quality issues fir the initial steps.
    • You can test the device using Azure Kinect Viewer to verify if the sensors are working correctly and to figure out if the error could be related to a particular positioning of the device or the configuration.
    • Test different operating modes to narrow down if the issue is happening in a specific mode
    • Is your Azure Kinect recorder synchronized with any external devices?
      • If the Azure Kinect recorder is synced with any external synchronized devices, restarting a subordinate device will cause synchronization to be lost.
      • Please refer the Tips section of Use Azure Kinect recorder with external synchronized devices for more details if this is applicable to you.
    • Make sure your device uses that latest Azure-Kinect-Sensor-SDK

Please let us know if the above steps do not help you in narrowing down the issue. We can connect offline to inspect a sample file captured with the corrupted frames and investigate this issue further.
