Hello,

I am running Orchestrator 2019 and I working on a runbook which simply monitors a Folder1 if any new files are being copied into that folder and then copies the files to Folder2.

Everything works as expected for about 12 hours. Then out of the sudden the runbook does not detect any new files in that Folder1. The runbook is still running and I don't see any errors in the Log or Events tab. I am not even sure where to begin troubleshooting this.

Thank you

Marcus

    Hi,

in my experience there are problems with the "Monitor *" Activities.

    I recommend to re-design with "Monitor Date/Time":

"Monitor Date/Time" -> "Check that there are files which are not already at the target" -> "copy this files"

    Regards,

    Stefan

This is really weird, and if you have a contract or subscription, I recommend you create a CSS support request.

    Capture

I'll try to reproduce this scenario and see if there's any clues.

As a workaround, we could use the Run .Net Script with the PowerShell script, and link it to a schedule, for example Monitor Date/Time.

XinGuo - using a powershell script and a schedule is my backup plan if i cant figure out the root cause of the issue.
