New forms aren't saving to Access database.

Microsoft Access is seemingly allowing me to save forms to our database, but when I look at the table, it has not been saving each form. For the last few weeks, it has only been saving the most recent two forms, and it seems like the ones saved before those were deleted. The ID column of the table suggests that we have submitted 2851 forms, but there are only 2815 records. There have not been any error messages, so we are missing data from the last few weeks because we assumed it was working correctly. I am not sure what the problem is. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, were you able to fix it?

    Hi,

It's possible that there is an issue with the database itself, such as corruption or a limit on the number of records that can be stored. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

    1. Compact and repair the database: This process can help to identify and fix any issues with the database that may be preventing forms from being saved. To do this, open the database in Access and go to File > Options > Current Database. Under "Application Options," click the "Compact and Repair Database" button.
    2. Check for any error messages: Even if you haven't seen any error messages, it's possible that there are errors occurring behind the scenes that are preventing the forms from being saved. To check for errors, go to File > Options > Client Settings and check the "Show add-in user interface errors" box. This will allow any error messages to be displayed when they occur.

If your database is corrupted and manual workarounds are not working, you should probably try repairing it using a 3rd party tool.

    Best Regards.
