bastion is not accessible from the internet

Im trying to use bastion to connect to VMs in vnet. When i enter username and password and push 'connect' button url that is not accessible. Also ive tried to curl bastion's domain name from my PC and it also fails to connect. I've reprovisioned bastion couple times, it also didn't help. Another bastion with almost identical settings works fine for me. Configuration of the networks, subnets and NSGs are the same for these two bastions

hi Dan,

i cant upload the error screenshot. but on my browser i can see a "connection has timed out"

The error message you are seeing is caused because of NSG blocking the traffic to either Bastion or to the VM.

Do you have any NSGs in the BastionSubnet and AzureVMSubnet?

If yes, can you remove the NSGs and give it a try?

Also, can you please make sure the below rules are met

I would recommend you to check the NSG requirements first.

In case the requirements are met and the issue is still happening, we should raise a support ticket and an engineer would be assigned to you 1:1 to troubleshoot the issue.

Can you please make sure the NSGs in BastionSubnet and VMSubnet are configured according to the requirements mentioned here.

Please check the troubleshooting steps over here - https://video2.skills-academy.com/en-us/azure/bastion/troubleshoot

Usually it is the NSGs or Firewall issues and you can check the logs, if this does not work I will recommend to raise a support case with MS - https://azure.microsoft.com/en-ca/support/create-ticket/
