Generating an access key for automating images

Hi,

Please advise on how do i create/generate a key which will allow me to use it in a configuration managements system. (in my case Ansible).
my goal is to create a playbook and automatically provision the VM's based on the security key. (As i've seen on Youtube , it's working great on AWS, no reason why it won't be the same in Azure). :)
if you'll be able to provide or a tutorial with an step by step configuration it'll be great

Thank you for your post!

When you say "...provision the VM's based on the security key", are you trying to encrypt your VMs once they're provisioned with the key? Or are you just provisioning VMs that are utilizing a Key?

Are you able to provide the link to the YouTube video so I can get an idea of what you're looking for.

Create/Generate a key using the Azure Key Vault:
Navigating to your Key Vault -> Select either Keys, Secrets, or Certificates -> Generate/Import
*Once the Key is created, you should be able to use the "Key Identifier" to reference in your scripts.
