Hello,

I am looking for detailed information to understand the use of idQ attribute with custom ribbon in Access.

Following tests, I note for example that there are differences in display behavior when 2 ribbons share controls (idQ) between 2 forms with the startFromScratch attribute set to false or true.

With startFromScratch set to true, the display of split controls does not occur in the split tab.

With startFromScratch to false, the display is correct.

Is control sharing for custom ribbons provided for both values of this attribute?

According to tests, for shared controls (idQ), no callback procedure of these controls is called in the VBA code.

Is this normal?

I find a number of examples and explanations for Excel but not for Access.
