Hello @Chandler Greff Thank you for reaching out to us on Microsoft Q&A platform. Happy to help!
The cost of Azure Bastion is based on the number of hours it is used and the number of connections made. For more information on Azure Bastion pricing, please refer to this document. That being said, it is highly irrelevant that the cost of deleted Bastion instance is still showing up. Like @Samy Abdul said, you may want to check and verify if there is any other instance of Bastion running.
In order to isolate the issue, please follow the below steps to check the cost of Azure Bastion in the Azure portal.
Go to the Azure portal and navigate to the "Cost Management + Billing" section.
In the left-hand menu, click on "Cost analysis".
In the "Cost analysis" blade, select the appropriate subscription and time range for which you want to view the cost.
In the "Group by" section, select "Service" and then select "Azure Bastion" from the list of services.
You should now see a breakdown of the cost of Azure Bastion for the selected time range.
- You can further refine the cost analysis by selecting different groupings, such as by resource group or by location.
Please verify if the cost is related to the Bastion instance that was deleted earlier. If yes, I would recommend reaching out to Azure billing team for further investigation.
