My question was: In one host pool is there any risk to having session hosts with different versions of FSLogix for a few days as I upgrade the hosts?
Recommended practices for updating FSLogix on an active Azure Virtual Desktop host pool
I have an Azure Virtual Desktop host pool with 20 Windows 10 session hosts. I need to update FSLogix on all of them.
Currently my session hosts have FSLogix version 2.9.7838.44263. I have downloaded version 2.9.8440.42104. My question is, how should I plan for the update given that 3/4 of the session hosts have active sessions and the update requires a reboot?
I can update the inactive hosts by putting drain mode on and manually updating, but what about active hosts? The update requires a reboot, so I will need for all users to end sessions before I upgrade/reboot active session hosts. This means my host pool will have session hosts with mixed versions of FSLogix, probably for a couple of days.
Is there any risk to having a host pool with mixed versions?
