Storage explorer sorting by Last Modifed

Not sure if I've stumbled across a bug or if I'm just doing something wrong.

We receive carrier tracking data into blob storage for importing into D365. Today, one of the files had issues, so I was babysitting it to make sure it came in correctly.

When I sort (no filters) by the Last Modified column in Storage Explorer, the only files I see imported today are at 10:22a and 3:57p. When I filter by the name of the file I'm looking for (and come on MS, give us wildcard searching here!), I see my file as having been imported at 2:55 today.

If I select "Load more" and then re-sort, I'm able to see my "missing" files. If I keep selecting "Load more" and keep re-sorting, I see more files each time. Visible files went from 2, 7, 15, 20, 26 before I stopped playing that game.

My feeling is that I shouldn't have to keep selecting "Load more" when initially sorting.

Did I stumble on a bug here? Or is that annoyance by design?

Apologies that the above solution did not work for you. Due to the large number of items in your storage account it appears that this will not resolve the issue. While you wait for the Storage Explorer issue to be resolved my recommended workaround is to utilize the Azure Portal Storage browser. This should allow you to filter and view all the data.

This appears to be related to a known issue. To work around this issue you can try choosing All blobs from the dropdown menu instead of the Active blobs.
